Women’s Ministry Teams

Missions & Service Team

This team definitely puts our “Faith In Action”.  This team will work together in organizing/and or assisting with local mission-helps projects within our community.  It’s a way for us to be HIS hands and feet in a mighty and impacting way!  We will also participate in serving at certain mission events coordinated by our Newsong Compassion Ministry.  We want to make a difference in the lives of all of those around us, within our Newsong church body as well, as within our surrounding community.

Prayer Team

This very important ministry team is specifically for women’s personal prayer needs. When a woman has a specific prayer need that she may only feel comfortable sharing with women, the prayer team leader will receive the request, to pass on in confidentiality to the team members for diligent prayer.  They will also pray for our Newsong staff, women’s ministry events and missions.  Team members will also be available to pray one-on-one with individual women on location at events and mission events.

Hospitality Team

In our busy world, some of the simple ways of building friendship and family connections have been forgotten.  This team will try to help fill in that important gap, greatly ministering to and blessing the lives of others.  These team members will organize meals and/or cards, for new moms, sick, bereaved, etc.  This team will also follow-up with Newsong visitors and new members making sure they know that they are welcome and loved.

Ministry Events Team

This team hopes to plan two to four events per calendar year.  We are depending on God’s guidance and inspiration, to help our team to organize events that are fun & exciting for all, yet spiritually significant giving opportunity for deeper spiritual growth.  These events can range from attending Women of Faith type conferences together as a group, to hosting our own Women’s Retreats, Conferences, Fellowship Teas, Mother-Daughter Events, Marriage Retreats, Dinner Dances, Concerts, Game Nights, etc.  We not only want to plan events for women, but also host events for our entire Newsong Family as well, as Outreach.
